Nowadays it is often that we hear about the game called cornhill or cornhill toss but very few of us know about the details of this game. Actually this is a game which originated in Cincinnati, Ohio and gradually became popular in California and the other counties. The cornhill toss game becomes a little clearer to us when it is referred to as the bean bag toss game or the bean bag game.

The bean bag toss game makes good use of the bean bags which are soft and cuddly. These bags have no sharp edges or sharp features and therefore are not meant to harm any individual and this is the reason why these bags have been selected for a game like the bean bag toss game. In this particular game the bean bags are thrown on a wooden or plastic platform which is specially made for the game. The platform consists of a hole in the far end of it and if a player manages to get the bean bag through the hole he gets three points but when the bean bag simply launches on the platform he gets one single point for it.

Bean bags are cozy and comfortable and when friends and family get together using a bean bag for a game is certainly a very good idea. When all the rules of the bean bag toss game are known the game appears to be really interesting and enjoyable. These light weight bags are really easy to handle and fun to play with.
