The bean bag toss game or the cornhill game is a very popular game today and many people are aware of it but there are also those who have never heard of it. For those who have got many bean bags at home this can be a really fun game to play with family and friends when there is a get together. Anyone can play the bean bag toss game and this can be a game that the children will enjoy as well as the adults and the teams can be formed by both children and adults combined.

There are certain rules and regulations of the game which one should know of and this is pretty easy as the rules are all over the internet. The game originated in Ohio but has gradually moved on to the various other counties. There are even yearly tournaments held in the district of Ohio sanctioned by the American Cornhill organization.

If the basic rules of the game is known the game becomes very easy to understand and really fun to play. The referee of the game is called the ‘police’ and the game goes on until one of the players score 21. but sometimes under certain circumstances the game can end with a 11-0 score and that is when it is called a ‘skunk’. A player scores three points if he is able to throw a bean bag through the hole and gets one point if the bag stays on the platform or board. The bean bag platforms and boards along with the bags suitable for the games are sold at the various stores.
